Gallagher Bassett (GB) has supported defence families and children with a donation in Brisbane of its Gentle Bears to charity Legacy, which helps Australians who have suffered from the injury or death of a serving family member.

GB representatives with military backgrounds recently delivered a batch of the claim manager’s Gentle Bears to Legacy, which currently cares for 52,000 beneficiaries, including 1845 children.

More than 10,000 Gentle Bears have been provided to children in need since GB’s Gentle Bear program began in 2007. The toy bears are used in 22 locations worldwide in hospitals, schools, Red Cross, the Salvation Army, the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Kids For Cancer, the Jane Goodall Chimpanzee Rehab Centre and other charities.
