360 Underwriting Solutions is looking for a new National Manager Sura Mobile Plant & Equipment following the retirement of Stephen Borg.

“We wish [him] or Borgi as he may be better known all the very best for his next chapter,” Director Denis Morrissey said.

“A search is currently underway for [his] replacement.”

Mr Borg, who held the role for the last 16 years or so, is looking forward to spending more time with friends and family.

“I feel that I have had a very fortunate career and definitely achieved more than I thought was imaginable,” he said.

360 Underwriting says Mr Borg is a rarity within the industry as he actually chose insurance as his career.

He started out as an insurance cadet with South British United in December 1975 and promotion followed soon as he became workers’ compensation litigation manager at NZI.

Mr Borg then took up various roles at Mercantile Mutual before becoming a broker at Finsura Castle Hill.

Nine years later he moved into the agency arena which ultimately led to his position as National Manager Sura Mobile Plant & Equipment.
