360 Underwriting Solutions has named Paul Riordan as Executive Director of the 360 Commercial Business.

Mr Riordan, who joined the business last week, was most recently with Allianz, where he was state manager NSW/ACT for three years. He joined the insurer in 2008 as senior key account manager for broker and agency, and later took on other roles, according to his LinkedIn account.

Mr Riordan reports to 360 Underwriting Solutions co-founder Chris Lynch, who is responsible for the agency’s commercial business classes.

“With the 360 Commercial business now three times its size from initial purchase, and with the amount of agency opportunities on the horizon, it was imperative to appoint someone of [Mr Riordan’s] ability and pedigree to continue building,” Mr Lynch told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

Mr Lynch and his co-founder Denis Morrissey were formerly with Allianz. They bought a business pack underwriting agency from AUB-owned Sura in 2017 and established it as two companies, 360 Underwriting Solutions and 360 Commercial.
