Former Steadfast executive Niels Laaper has joined 360 Underwriting as CIO to lead the company’s technology innovation drive.

His experience at Steadfast is of “crucial relevance”, the underwriting agency says.

Mr Laaper became Steadfast Hub CEO in 2005 before taking up the EGM underwriting agency technology services role. He left the broking group in 2020.

360 Founding MD Denis Morrissey says Mr Laaper’s primary focus will be fostering business growth, spearheading innovation and providing “exceptional” client service through the implementation of operational excellence.

“His authentic and trusted approach to people management, as well as his ability to extract the best from teams, business partners and vendors, will underpin the next evolution of our technology journey at 360,” Mr Morrissey said.
