Entries are now open for this year’s Finder Innovation Awards, which celebrate the achievements of Australia's game-changing businesses and individuals over the past 12 months.

The awards, now in their sixth year, recognise the excellence, creativity and impact of innovations introduced during the year to June 30 across 27 categories. Last year, Hollard-underwritten Fast Cover Travel Insurance won for “Best Insurance Innovation”.

Entries for 2021 are open until June 18. Finalists will be revealed in July, and the winners crowned in August.

The judging criteria is based on innovation, range of features and impact/success.

Finder Australia CEO Chris Ellis says Australia is at the threshold of a new exciting phase of growth and development and the awards acknowledge businesses leading the charge.

“The innovation engine is humming across multiple sectors in Australia, powered by bright minds and new technologies,” Mr Ellis said. “We’re searching for organisations and individuals who have launched products and services that will improve people’s lives both now and in years to come.”

Mr Ellis says it is inspiring to see Australian organisations investing boldly in innovation and shake up existing models to offer ground-breaking solutions, changing the way business is conducted and increasing efficiency.
