WTW appoints Risk & Broking President, Chairman

Lucy Clarke has been appointed WTW Risk & Broking President, while Adam Garrard will move to the role of Risk & Broking Chairman.

The changes are effective from the third quarter of next year.

“We are excited to announce this strong addition to WTW,” said Mr Garrard, who is currently WTW Corporate Risk & Broking Head and was formerly Willis Australia and New Zealand CEO based in Sydney.

London-based Ms Clarke is currently Marsh Specialty and Global Placement President. She was formerly JLT Global Specialty CEO.

Mr Garrard says she is an industry leader committed to specialisation, exceptional client service, data and analytics.

“She has extraordinary market presence, a proven track record of delivering results and an intense focus on talent,” he said.

The President and Chairman will work closely to grow the segment, which comprises more than 14,000 employees serving 140 countries. Ms Clarke will be responsible for the day-to-day financial and operational management and growth of the business, reporting to WTW CEO Carl Hess.

“With the addition of Lucy to our strong Risk & Broking leadership team, WTW will offer an even more compelling value proposition as we continue to innovate and adapt to address our clients’ changing needs,” Mr Hess said.

"I look forward to welcoming Lucy to the WTW team next year and know she will help us relentlessly drive our strategic priorities forward.”
