UpSure launches multi-quote SME cyber offer
Tech-focused broker UpSure has launched a cyber insurance tool designed for Australian start-ups and SMEs.
Business owners can obtain up to three quotes and instant coverage from cyber insurers Agile, Emergence and Blue Zebra within minutes.
Brisbane-based UpSure says it is the first offering of its kind in Australia.
“We’re bridging the gap by making cyber coverage more accessible and tailored to the specific needs of start-ups and SMEs, so they can safeguard their operations with ease,” said co-founder and CEO Matt Almond, who was formerly an underwriter at Zurich.
UpSure specialises in start-ups and technology companies and was founded by Mr Almond and Andrew Birt in 2020. It also offers cover for professional indemnity, management and product liability, goods in transit and more.
It says start-ups and SMEs often believe they are too small to be targeted by cybercriminals, or struggle to navigate complex insurance products tailored to larger organisations.
The new tool meets growing demand for simplified, accessible cyber insurance that suits smaller businesses, it says. See details here.
