The Underwriting Agencies Council has called off next week’s Market Exchange at Gold Coast because of Cyclone Alfred.

“With many exhibitors and attendees facing travel disruptions and the industry focused on supporting affected clients, we believe rescheduling the event is the best course of action to ensure maximum participation and value for all involved,” the council says on its LinkedIn page.

The event was scheduled for next Wednesday at The Star casino. UAC says it is working to confirm a new date for late this year or early next year, and will provide an update as soon as possible.
