Centrewest Insurance Brokers has appointed Scott Cole as CEO and MD, responsible for management and driving the strategic direction of the business. 

Rick Post, who has been Centrewest MD for a decade, will take the role of Executive Director and continue on the leadership team, working with key clients and stakeholders.  

Mr Cole spent more than 14 years at Honan, finishing as State Manager WA in July. He has also worked at Aon and Marsh.  

“Scott has proven leadership and business development skills which will be highly beneficial. I have every confidence that through his experience and enthusiasm, the business will continue to flourish,” Mr Post said.   

“I am very excited about my new role and look forward to continuing to work with our great team, clients and insurer partners.” 

Centrewest, which began in Perth in 1987, has a team of more than 40 brokers and advisers providing general insurance, risk management advice and broking services. Account Directors Daniel Gaensler and Gavin Statham will continue on the leadership team.
