Underwriting agency Rural Affinity has extended its partnership with Munich Re Specialty.

The specialist agriculture underwriter has signed a five-year agency and claims services agreement with the Munich Re-owned business, renewing a deal struck in 2020.

Rural Affinity says the partnership will enable it to develop its product range with a focus on innovation and technology.

“From the inception of Rural Affinity in 2006, Munich Re’s expertise has been instrumental for us to achieve our goals and ambitions,” the agency’s MD James Hooper said.

“They have a detailed understanding of our business and the important solutions we provide to the agricultural industry in regional Australia.” 

Rural Affinity provides products to the farm, crop, plantation timber and livestock industries in Australia and New Zealand, according to its website.
