QBE Insurance has appointed Julie Starley as Australia Pacific chief claims officer following the departure of Jon Fox.

Ms Starley was most recently MD consumer, according to her LinkedIn. She was made interim claims chief when QBE announced in December that Mr Fox was leaving.

“I’ve been so proud to see first-hand the tremendous resilience and dedication of our claims team – they are at the heart of helping our customers recover,” she said. “I’m excited to continue to work with the team in driving innovation, consistency and performance excellence.”
