ProRisk fills regional business development role

Underwriting agency ProRisk has appointed Naomi Stewart as relationship and business development manager for NSW and ACT.

Ms Stewart, who joined last month, will identify new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships and nurture client relationships for all lines of business.

ProRisk says she has built a wealth of relationship knowledge and market presence over an extensive career including working as Vero business development manager for the past 16 years.

“I am thrilled to have Naomi join our team and bring her outstanding reputation in the market and relationships to ProRisk,” head of business development and marketing Chris Varkoly said.

“Naomi shares a real passion for brokers and our industry.”

CEO Hamish McDonald Nye says the business has achieved significant growth, supported by its underwriting platform ProBind, new products, underwriting and claims management service.

“We are committed to building deeper relationships with our broking partners through continued investment in our business relationship and development function,” he said.
