Pair promoted as Risk Advisory Services rejigs roles
Risk Advisory Services founding partners Gordon Young and Steve Owen have stepped away from day-to-day management to concentrate on the business’ broader direction and spend more time with key customers.
In a restructure that is “all about succession planning as the business continues to grow and thrive”, Perth-based David Cunneen and Melbourne-based Josef Radinja have been promoted to principal consultants.
Mr Cunneen is a former PSC account manager and Aon broker, and Mr Radinja has held senior roles at Gallagher and WTW.
CEO Irene Sinclair will take on greater responsibility for general management, reporting to the board each quarter. She previously spent more than 12 years at Marsh and worked at Jardine Lloyd Thompson Australia.
“Gordon, Steve and I will continue as board directors while also working on key accounts within this new structure, with a focus on mentoring all our team members,” chairman Tony Cope said.
“I’m thrilled for Dave and Josef on their well-deserved promotions and I’m certain that under Irene’s leadership, RAS will continue to bring our clients the fierce, independent advocacy they need in all areas of insurance and risk.”
