The National Insurance Brokers Association says its annual convention in October is the only gathering of brokers that transcends company boundaries.

“[It] is the only convention in Australia that brings together our whole community,” association president Gary Okely said.

“Regardless of whether you’re from an international firm, a network group, a small brokerage, or you’re an authorised representative, this is the one place that you can come together and network with the whole industry.”

The event takes place at the Adelaide Convention Centre from October 20-22, with the theme “beyond the status quo”.

The MC will be Seven News finance editor Gemma Acton, and confirmed speakers include founder and CEO of Business Chicks Emma Isaacs, leadership and learning expert Andrea Clarke, and futurist Ben Hamer.
