NIBA unveils October convention lineup

The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) has published details of events taking place at this year’s NIBA Convention, to be held at The Star Gold Coast next month.

The program offers “an exciting opportunity for attendees to hear from industry leaders on burning issues that are currently impacting the industry,” NIBA says.

Over two-and-a-half days, social events and networking opportunities such as the NIBA CGU Welcome Function and the NIBA Marketplace will run alongside sessions about the broking profession.

These will tackle issues such as supporting vulnerable clients, technology in the insurance industry, how to build lasting business relationships, future risks in property insurance, and how to attract new talent.

“The choice of topics reflects the urgency to tackle some of the most pressing challenges that the profession faces today,” NIBA says.  “Attendees can make the most of their Convention experience and walk away with actionable learnings they can utilise.”
