NIBA seeks Broker of the Year nominations

The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) is inviting nominations for its 2022 Broker of the Year, and says this year each state winner will for the first time be awarded a $2000 prize to go towards professional development.

Nominations for the prestigious national awards, sponsored by QBE, close on April 22.

Five individual regional awards are made each year after entries are assessed by the state/territory judging panel.

These finalists, announced at regional events running from May to July, are then eligible for the national Stephen Ball Memorial Award for Insurance Broker of the Year. The winner will receive a prize valued at $10,000 and attend QBE’s exclusive Equip program.

“The award, which is in its 10th year, invites the insurance industry to nominate top-performing senior brokers deserving of the accolade and recognition the awards bring,” NIBA says.

The Broker of the Year award is named after former NIBA President and JLT Australia Chairman Stephen Ball, who died in 2016.
