NIBA pre-election breakfast to ‘position our profession’
The National Insurance Brokers Association will host a May 1 breakfast in Sydney featuring NSW Liberal senator Andrew Bragg and independent MP for Warringah Zali Steggall.
Mick Veitch and Leigh Moran, directors at advisory group Counsel House, are also on the line-up.
NIBA says the event – just days before the May 3 federal election – will spotlight critical economic and political issues shaping the future of insurance in Australia.
“This breakfast is a unique opportunity to hear directly from the political leaders and experts who will influence the future of our sector,” CEO Richard Klipin said.
Topics will include cost-of-living challenges, supply chain instability and geopolitical tensions, and there will be a comprehensive update on the market.
NIBA president Nick Cook said: “Engaging with political stakeholders is key to ensuring our voice as the insurance broking profession is part of the national conversation. This breakfast helps position our profession at the table – listening, contributing and preparing for whatʼs ahead.”
Tickets for the event at the Fullerton Hotel are available here.
