The National Insurance Brokers Association has opened applications for its annual mentoring program, running from August 21 to November 6.

NIBA says the 12-week scheme gives young professionals an opportunity to pair with experienced industry figures to establish and achieve career goals.

The program, which will run in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth and Hobart, features a series of developmental workshops, webinars and dedicated mentor/mentee sessions to help guide participants.

Mentors, who are drawn from various insurance-related industries, can develop their leadership skills by taking part.

Applications are open until July 5 and each state is allocated up to 25 mentor/mentee pairs, which will be introduced between July 22 and 26.
