National Insurance Brokers Association CEO Richard Klipin and past president Gary Okely are in London to meet their UK counterparts.

British Insurance Brokers’ Association CEO Graeme Trudgill posted a photo to LinkedIn yesterday to mark the discussions.

“I was pleased to welcome our Australian broker trade association cousins NIBA to meet the BIBA exec in London this week,” he wrote.

“Our markets have a lot of common issues, whether that be the challenges of insuring multi-occupancy buildings, or strata as they call it in Australia, access to insurance or [insurance premium taxes].”
