Steadfast says its convention next year will be at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from March 23-25.

The convention is considered the largest general insurance gathering in Australia, with about 2000 people attending the recent function in Brisbane, which opened with a spectacular welcome event at Howard Smith Wharves.

Keynote speakers this year included Lloyd’s Chief of Markets Patrick Tiernan, co-founder of online fashion retailer The Iconic Adam Jacobs, and former rugby league star Johnathan Thurston. 

A disco-themed gala dinner concluded the event and attendees raised more than $380,000 for homelessness charity Orange Sky Australia.
