Stella Insurance, which specialises in cover tailored for women, is expanding with the introduction of a broking division.

“We have for a long time looked to support female entrepreneurs with their unique insurance needs and I couldn’t be happier for this next evolution,” founder and CEO Sam White said on LinkedIn. “It’s clear already that there’s a huge opportunity to support women in business.”

Stella Broking, an authorised representative of Community Broker Network, will provide comprehensive insurance solutions for businesses of all sizes.

“We have spoken to many business owners and operators about key challenges they face with their business and personal insurance needs,” Stella says.

“This identified an opportunity for us to see how we can further extend our support and expertise.”

It says the brokerage offers tailored solutions for business owners and professionals including liability protection, cyber and strata coverage, and personal home and contents.

Stella Insurance, which celebrated its fourth anniversary last month, operates in Australia and the UK. It has previously introduced car, pet and travel cover and its team has grown to 18 members.
