McLardy McShane keeps up the fight with charity golf day
McLardy McShane’s sixth annual Fight MND Golf Challenge raised more than $115,000 to support research into motor neurone disease.
The event at Mornington Peninsula’s Moonah Links in January attracted 120 attendees from the company and various partner groups.
The brokerage has raised more than $600,000 for FightMND through its golf days.
Founders Don McLardy and Mike McShane took part in their annual challenge, inviting each playing pair to try to beat their score for a $250 donation to FightMND.
Security retailer Secure Your World’s representatives Mark Johnson and John Thompson were the competition’s winners.
The event was capped off with a dinner at the Continental Sorrento featuring FightMND patron and AFL legend Neale Daniher, and appearances from several AFL personalities and representatives.
McLardy McShane also recently held professional development events across Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast and Perth. They included company updates from Mr McLardy and GM Meg Long, plus presentations and exhibits from industry groups and representatives.
