McLardy McShane delegation spreads the word in London, Dublin
McLardy McShane has hailed its second annual Britain and Ireland trip as a “roaring success”.
Founders Don McLardy and Mike McShane led a group of 14 staff members in London for four days, including a visit to Lloyd’s and several educational seminars with local underwriters and brokers.
The tour included the inaugural McLardy McShane London Cocktail Party, attended by industry members.
The group then spent five days in Dublin, taking part in a workshop arranged by the company’s community partner Soar Foundation, among other activities.
Mr McLardy said the trip was an opportunity to reward his workers while continuing to expand the company’s presence overseas.
“Visiting Lloyd’s was obviously a highlight, and Mike McShane and I have found it very humbling to watch our people represent the company so professionally with other brokers, underwriters and the broader public over here,” he said.
“The McLardy McShane name is becoming known in London, and we have no doubt many opportunities are going to open up for us in the future for the benefit of the broader group.”
