McLardy McShane breaks records at ‘Olympic’ conference
More than 360 McLardy McShane network members attended the group’s annual conference at the Adelaide Convention Centre last week.
The three-day event had an Olympics theme, including an opening presentation in which gold medallist Cathy Freeman and three-time silver medallist Raelene Boyle lit a replica Olympic cauldron.
The pair were also guest speakers, alongside Steadfast Australasian networks EGM Nick Cook and Thomas Foods International MD Darren Thomas.
The conference was supported by 59 industry sponsors including CGU, Chubb, Hollard, QBE, Victory Premium Funding and Zurich.
McLardy McShane says the event raised a record $340,250 for its charity and non-profit partners: FightMND, Reach, Cure EB, Love Your Sister and House of Darwin Foundation.
The broker network will hold next year’s convention in Sydney.
