Lockton starts Pulse digital products rollout

Lockton Australia has launched digital insurance suite Lockton Pulse for SMEs and individuals.

The first Pulse product is a retirement living residents’ contents cover. The insurer is Blue Zebra, which is backed by Youi.

Lockton says the Pulse platform, designed by insurtech Kanopi, will deliver a diverse range of other products within the next year.

“We needed a differentiated proposition for Lockton against industry peers who might be hamstrung by complex legacy systems or outdated propositions that do not resonate with insurance buyers in 2024,” Lockton Pacific CEO Paul Marsden said.

Pulse allows customers to obtain quotes and buy insurance online, plus access to customised risk advisory services. It targets a range of small businesses and individuals across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region, offering “market-leading value”.

Lockton Australia says it is “designed to be an end-to-end, full-lifecycle quote and bind digital experience for SMEs and personal lines of insurance supported by quality risk advice”.
