Lockton New Zealand announces additions

Lockton New Zealand has announced two new hires within its national operations with the appointments of Ala Aladwan and David Johnson.

Ms Aladwan will join the firm’s business development team as a bid manager. Lockton says Ms Aladwan will bring a “multifaceted perspective” to its team, including her background in engineering, which includes a master’s degree in industrial engineering.

Mr Johnson has been appointed as a management accountant for Lockton’s Captive and Alternative Risk Transfer operations. He has more than two decades of accounting experience, including time as a Director for Harrop & Hargrave Chartered Accountants.

“With over two decades of experience, David possesses extensive knowledge spanning a diverse range of New Zealand businesses, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of their financial intricacies,” Lockton wrote on LinkedIn.

“His expertise includes consulting and preparing accounts for a varied clientele of NZ businesses, as well as actively participating in business sales, purchases and due diligence.”

Lockton New Zealand will see new CEO Craig Buckle take over next month after he was announced as the successor for the retiring Peter Lowe in October.
