Lockton Australia has appointed Kristy Nicholson as its new head of work health and safety. 

In the newly created role, she will lead a team providing risk solutions to clients and work with the brokerage’s broader People Solutions unit to help reduce and manage workplace risk.  

Ms Nicholson joins from Marsh, where she worked since 2006, most recently as the leader of its national safety consulting and workforce strategies unit, heading a team of 30. 

“With an in-house safety team, Lockton can now provide a more holistic service to clients, leading to better business and insurance program outcomes,” Lockton Australia People Solutions GM Michael Woodlands said.  

“Kristy brings a wealth of experience to Lockton – she is an expert in workplace safety, a certified auditor, and is highly skilled in understanding client needs and creating and delivering tailored client solutions across safety and psychological risk.”
