Lockton has announced a series of appointments to its professional and financial risks team as it looks to expand its presence in the sector.

The brokerage says John Muir, who currently serves as Gallagher Professional & Financial Lines Manager for its WA operation, will join its firm as the manager of its Professional & Financial division in Perth. Mr Muir holds more than 20 years of insurance experience, having previously held roles at Chubb, CGU and Willis CKA.

He will be joined by Bella Wilkinson, who was also named a manager for Lockton’s Perth team. Ms Wilkinson joins the group, having served 11 years as a client manager specialising in professional and financial risks at Gallagher.

Lockton also named Hannah Norman as an Account Executive for its Sydney team, which she will join after three years at Marsh.
