Lockton names leader for new risk consultancy

Lockton has appointed Ben Crowther to head a new in-house risk consulting practice that will assist clients facing increasingly complex challenges.

Pacific CEO Paul Marsden says integrated risk and broking propositions are typically reserved for top companies, presenting an opportunity for Lockton to make an impact in the mid-market space.

“We’ve been listening to our clients and, evidently, the risks our clients are facing are only becoming more complex,” he said today.

“By establishing in-house risk consulting capabilities, Lockton will add value to our clients’ businesses and address gaps or capacity challenges among their ... internal risk management expertise.”

Lockton says Mr Crowther has extensive experience in the area and as head of risk consulting will work with brokers to help clients identify areas requiring attention and design tailored strategies to address their challenges.

“By delivering critical services like insurable risk profiling, valuations and business interruption reviews, Lockton is solidifying its position as a more relevant, trusted adviser and collaborator in our clients’ wider risk management strategies,” Mr Crowther said.
