Insurtech Australia (IA) says 10 insurtechs will be available to speak with brokers on July 25 at its ‘empowering brokers’ event in Sydney, allowing insurance brokers to hear from leading insurtech experts on the technologies shaping the future for the industry. 

IA says Blue Zebra, Kanopi, Advisr, LeapForward, Zemble, JAVLN, Dx Labs, InsureMo, SafetyCulture Care and Ubind will be in attendance. 

Insurance News Chairman and Publisher Terry McMullan will moderate a panel featuring ZapCentral Director Lisa Woodley, BJS Insurance Group Operations Manager and former National Insurance Brokers Association president Dianne Phelan, Honey Insurance Partnerships VP Eoghan Trehy, SafetyCulture Care MD Frank Costigan and DLA Piper Senior Associate Ann-Marie Coleman.  

“Our panel of experts have a deep understanding of how brokers operate and the broker technology landscape, along with how technology and insurtech play a role in efficiency, productivity and improving customer service through consistency,” IA says.  

The insurtechs attending offer solutions relevant for small to medium metropolitan and regional brokers, providing an opportunity to hear how to harness technology to better serve client needs.  

The event will give brokers “insight into the digital capabilities and innovations needed to stay competitive, efficient and customer relevant,” the organisers say.
