Steadfast-owned insurance.com.au has launched a travel insurance solution, and says more retail products are likely to be introduced this year. 

The website – which also offers business and pet insurance – says the travel offering is administered by battleface Insurance Services and underwritten by Pacific International Insurance. 

“Our travel insurance product represents a milestone for insurance.com.au, reflecting our commitment to the wellbeing of our customers,” CEO Dominique Requin said. 

“As we continue to launch new products in both the retail and SME space, we aim to redefine the insurance experience, providing peace of mind for every journey.”  

The new travel product offers a range of coverage options, enabling consumers to customise travel protection based on specific needs.  

Customers can choose between personal and business travel, stolen or lost baggage, and optional add-on such as cancellation, trip interruption, and snow cover.
