Ignite innovation sparks recruitment drive
A UK-based policy administration software company that launched an OpenAI-powered chatbot for brokers is growing fast.
Ignite Insurance Systems says it has increased overall headcount by 40% in the past nine months, in response to continued business growth and demand.
Its latest recruitment drive has focused on three areas: new business, client support and research & development.
“The need for additional resource has been spurred on by a record number of new broker clients in the motor and pet markets, as well as existing clients experiencing year-on-year new business growth of 99% in Q1 2023,” it said.
“This is in addition to Ignite’s continued investment in innovation, as it rolls out further phases of its AI querying technology into its broker system.”
MD Toby MacLachlan says 35% of new recruits in the past six months are women, well above the industry average of 26%.
“Bringing new talent and expertise into the business comes with its challenges but will ultimately bolster our ability to drive further innovation and change across the market,” he said.
“The support from our parent company Verisk has been invaluable in allowing Ignite to keep pace with the demand for our system.”
