GSA Insurance Brokers has announced a series of promotions and appointments to its leadership team, with nine changes made.

Elyssa Johnson has been named Head of General Insurance after nearly 15 years with the company, having previously served as head of workers’ compensation, senior accounts manager for general insurance and portfolio manager.

GSA has also promoted Johnnie Keymer and Ben Rubio to be joint leads of its professional and financial lines team. Both have more than seven years’ experience at the company and backgrounds in underwriting.

Former Aon and Gallagher employee Kelly Townley has joined GSA as Head of Queensland. She has more than 20 years’ industry experience.

And Carlo Gentili, Ryan Neary, Charles Galayini, Helen Li and Rocco Pirrello have all been promoted to EGM roles in their various departments.
