GSA extends board with key appointments
GSA Insurance Brokers has announced the appointment of Margo Ward and Trent Robinson to its board.
Ms Ward is CEO of children’s mental health charity KidsXpress, which she co-founded with GSA Executive Chairman Paul Hines in 2006. She is also an Independent Director at Chubb, a role she’s held since 2016.
Mr Robinson is the current head coach of GSA’s decade-long partner Rugby League club Sydney Roosters.
Mr Hines says the brokerage is “privileged” to add the two appointees to its board, crediting their long-time associations with the firm and contributions to its “cultural fabric”.
“Margo and Trent join our Board because of their humanist and leadership qualities,” Mr Hines said.
“They are influential thought-leaders, proven in affecting positive growth with everyone they interact with.”
In 2020, GSA sold a controlling share of its firm to Steadfast, in a move that saw Steadfast executives Robert Kelly and John O’Herlihy named to its board.
The additions of Ms Ward and Mr Robinson expand the board to seven members, including Mr Hines, GSA CEO James Telford, and Non-Executive Directors Gary Flowers, Mr Kelly and Mr O’Herlihy.
