Former Ausure AR returns to network
Ausure says DBK Insurance Solutions has returned as an authorised representative, six years after leaving the Steadfast-backed broking network.
“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome … the entire team at DBK to the Ausure family,” business development GM Adam Sloan said.
“They are not only exceptional operators with a proven track record of success but also outstanding individuals who embody the values and professionalism we hold in the highest regard.”
DBK principal Lesley Bownds says Ausure is a “great fit for our business. The fact we are able to continue to access Steadfast systems and products with a relatively seamless changeover made the decision even easier.”
Ms Bownds says DBK has doubled in size over the past 13 years after buying books of business from retiring ARs.
“We first started with three full-time ARs … and now have six ARs and an administration assistant. I have been blessed to have found truly wonderful staff, and we are a little different to the run-of-the-mill general insurance practice, being an all-female office,” she said.
Ausure also welcomed a further two ARs to the network in January – McRae Insurance Services in Victoria and Lion Insurance Services in SA.
"South Australia is a key region for us, and we’re excited to expand our footprint there," Mr Sloan said.
“With their fantastic business model and specialty in licensed venues, Lion Insurance Services is a perfect fit for our growth in that region.
"In Victoria, we continue to strengthen our presence, and McRae Insurance Services, based in Horsham with a strong rural focus, aligns well with our roots in rural brokerages."
