Five weeks until NIBA’s Adelaide convention
The National Insurance Brokers Association promises “lightbulb moments” and “plenty of networking opportunities” as it prepares for its annual convention.
The Adelaide event, with the theme Go Beyond the Status Quo, kicks off on October 20 with a “Louisiana-style” street party, before sessions get under way the following day.
Speakers include Financial Services Minister Stephen Jones, former NSW Fire Service commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons, founder and global CEO of Business Chicks Emma Isaacs, Insurance Council of Australia CEO Andrew Hall and Australian Financial Complaints Authority CEO David Locke.
The event, which aims to attract 800 delegates, wraps up with the convention dinner and awards on October 22.
Convention chair and former NIBA president Di Phelan say the program is “full of plenary speakers and breakout sessions that are sure to challenge your thinking in this ever-changing environment”.
