Ex-Honey exec to lead Envest’s Resilium Partners

Former Honey Insurance executive Eoghan Trehy has joined Envest as head of Resilium Partners.

Mr Trehy was most recently Honey Insurance VP of partnerships and was previously Macquarie Group’s national head of insurance for more than six years.

“I am excited and looking forward to contributing to the growth within our partner businesses by closely collaborating with principals and owners,” Mr Trehy said in a LinkedIn post.

“My focus is on cultivating robust relationships with partners and their teams to unlock their full potential. Similarly to my previous role, it’s the people within these organisations that inspire me to support their success.”

Resilium Partners invests in authorised representative practices, which retain their brand identity, and provides support in areas including marketing, administration and business expansion.

Resilium CEO Craig Robson says the role taken up by Mr Trehy is a new position and he will be part of the senior executive team of Resilium, which includes MD Ben Hastie and new Head of Finance Clive Kingsley.

“Our vision is to be the AR network of choice with the highest standard of professionalism and integrity,” Mr Robson said.

“Our partner model helps us achieve this by giving ARs options to build on their equity and scale with support or create a client focused succession plan.”

Mr Robson says the goal is to have a Resilium Partner in every major city, effectively creating network hubs. He says the new role will complement and support the delivery of service to those businesses as they grow.

“Eoghan is well known to our network and the broader insurance industry and his background in banking, deal structuring and strategic planning will be incredibly valuable to our partners,” Mr Robson said.
