Delta Insurance has appointed Joleene Dawson as group head of underwriting.

Ms Dawson, based in Sydney, will be “instrumental in driving Delta’s increased focus on international market expansion”, the underwriting agency says in a LinkedIn post.

She is a technical expert and proven leader with a track record of building and supporting high-performing teams, Delta says.

Ms Dawson was most recently Chubb property and casualty underwriting operations manager for Australia and New Zealand, according to her LinkedIn. She joined Chubb in 2010 as corporate unit manager, and before that she was a senior underwriter at Axis Capital.
