Underwriting agency Resilience Insurance says Coverforce MD Andrew Ferguson has joined as director of new business.

Mr Ferguson started in the newly created role in June, according to his LinkedIn.

“Resilience welcomes Andrew into the much-needed leadership role ... the appointment is extremely fortunate for Resilience as we now acquire the depth of experience and market knowledge Andrew brings to the company,” MD Stefan Hicks said.

Resilience formed in 2021 and the following year launched its latent defects cover for the construction industry.

Mr Hicks says as a relatively new agency, Resilience is “experiencing high growth and demand for its latent defects insurance, and with Andrew’s status within the construction industry, it’s an excellent fit”.

The product is distributed via Resilience’s broker partners SHC Insurance Brokers, Coverforce, Master Builders Insurance Brokers, Gallagher and Cruden Read.
