The National Insurance Brokers Association is seeking applicants for its community excellence award, with submissions closing soon.

The award celebrates association members’ “exceptional efforts in helping clients or positively contributing to their community”, and recognises contributions that “go beyond their regular work responsibilities”. 

Integrite Insurance’s Paula Cruden won the award last year.

This year’s winner will receive a ticket to the NIBA Convention in October, including return flights and three nights’ accommodation. They will also have $1000 to give to a charity of their choice.

Applications close on September 19, and the winner will be announced at the convention on October 21.
