CHU tech integration to streamline claims management

Strata specialist CHU says an innovative technology platform integration will allow real-time visibility on claims repairs and streamline the process.

The underwriting agency says its StrataTech platform and the ENData platform used by assessors, builders and repairers will be integrated to manage and automate end-to-end claims processing.

“We are empowering brokers and strata managers with the real-time information they need to navigate the claims process and provide greater ease and efficiency, resulting in a better experience for their clients,” CHU CEO Kimberley Jonsson said.

CHU says system-generated messages and updates will provide a clear picture of actions taken at every step of the process.

Through automation, the allocation and managing of repairs and replacements will be simplified, which will help resolve claims quickly.

“This reduces administrative delays and minimises the potential for miscommunication, resulting in faster claim resolutions,” it says.

The workflow driven approach for suppliers is expected to ensure a greater level of consistency and quality of workmanship, resulting in better outcomes, while the integration will allow CHU to capture critical data, facilitating continuous improvement and cost minimisation in claims management processes.

This integration is being rolled out for all CHU’s claims. Starting with NSW, intermediaries will begin to see updates and automated messages from ENData within the StrataTech’s “Claims View” over the next few months.

“This innovation represents a significant leap forward in our commitment to providing industry-leading strata insurance solutions,” Ms Jonsson said.
