Cyber insurance specialist CFC has launched a free online seminar to help Australian brokers start conversations with clients and sell the cover.

The Broker Essentials Cyber video takes brokers through the reasons cyber insurance exists, the protection it offers businesses, the everyday threats Australian companies face, and what brokers should be looking for in a good cyber cover.

CFC International Cyber Team Leader Philippa Davis, who presents the video, says it can be difficult for brokers to sell new lines but cyber cover should form an essential part of insurance programs.

“We recognise how hard it is to get clients interested in and committed to buying a new type of insurance, particularly in these challenging economic times, but in today’s digital world pretty much every business faces some form of cyber threat,” she said.
