Broking’s big hitters named top workplaces for women
Steadfast and Marsh are among the top 101 workplaces for women, according to equality watchdog WORK180.
The group has endorsed both broker organisations’ commitment to equitable workplaces, citing their flexible working arrangements, pay equity, anti-discriminatory culture and career development.
WORK180's findings include endorsements from staff, with Steadfast Project Marketing Manager Maria Johnsen hailing her group’s “willingness to adapt and support staff through change”.
“I’ve worked at Steadfast for over 10 years and, in that time, I’ve relocated interstate twice and gone from a 20-something city slicker to a mum of two children in the suburbs,” Ms Johnsen said.
“Through this change, Steadfast has supported me with inclusive initiatives including flexible working arrangements, access to parental and carers’ leave, as well as opportunities to advance my leadership abilities and ultimately my career.
“It’s an organisation that cares about its people and truly recognises their contribution to the business’ overall success.”
Underwriting agency DUAL Australia and New Zealand is also named among WORK180’s most equitable workplaces.
