Broking issues at heart of conference agenda
Broker issues and perspectives will form a critical part of the upcoming Insurance News Outlook 2025 conference.
The opening session of the event in Sydney on March 12 will see Finity and Insurance News present an exclusive report that includes an updated line-by-line analysis of market trends.
The report also includes commentary from industry leaders on how to navigate a soft market, social inflation and the impact of technology.

Edgewise Insurance Brokers account director Stella Pruscino, who is on the National Insurance Brokers Association board, will take part in a panel discussion examining future trends in emerging risk, risk management and technology.
And WTW’s Pacific head of broking Trent Williams will join an industry leaders panel at the end of the day, along with IAG CEO Nick Hawkins, Lloyd’s regional director Chris Mackinnon, Suncorp CEO of commercial and personal injury Michael Miller, and Liberty senior VP for Asia-Pacific Ben Hissey.
Hollard Australia founder Richard Enthoven will speak on growth opportunities in Australia, and the affordability challenge in home insurance will be discussed by Insurance Council of Australia GM of regulatory and consumer policy Alexandra Hordern, chief corporate affairs officer for Allianz Nicholas Scofield and the Financial Rights Legal Centre’s Julia Davis.
Australian Financial Complaints Authority GM of code compliance Prue Monument will tackle expectations around transparency, and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission’s credit, banking and general insurance senior executive leader, Nathan Bourne, will outline the regulator’s general insurance priorities.
