Broker BMS Australia has added Dianne Riopelle and Toby Lucas to its energy team as client manager and client executive respectively, based in Brisbane.

Ms Riopelle started last month after more than seven years with Marsh, according to her LinkedIn.

She brings a wealth of experience to the energy team, having spent several years advising clients in Australia and North America, BMS says. She has worked in fields including battery energy storage, hydro and pumped storage, and nuclear refurbishment.

“In the four short years since starting our Australian energy practice, we have grown to become one of Australia’s leading specialist brokers in this important industry sector, working with some of Australia’s largest developers to help them deliver on their ambitions,” BMS head of power and energy Ben Humphries said.

“As we continue to grow our energy team, Dianne’s appointment provides us with a deep and respected skill set as well as much-needed additional capacity to allow us to grow our business further.”

Mr Lucas was also previously with Marsh, as an account executive for energy and power.
