Axa XL bolsters Perth underwriting team
Axa XL has appointed three new senior underwriters at its Perth office.
It says the addition of Chris McElroy (in property), Amanda Rattue (financial lines) and Trent Jeuring (casualty) highlight the city’s importance as a hub for its operations in Australia.
“These appointments underscore our commitment and dedication to strengthening our market leadership and deepening relationships with clients and brokers in Perth,” country manager Catherine Carlyon said.
Mr McElroy joins from Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, where he was senior property underwriter for mining and energy for two years. He also spent a decade at Zurich and two years at CGU.
Ms Rattue was most recently a senior underwriter at Vero and was formerly acting head of financial lines at Allianz. She has also held positions at CGU, Chubb and Gallagher Bassett.
Mr Jeuring was most recently Chubb casualty manager in WA/SA for eight years. He has also worked at Ace Group and QBE.
