Ausure wraps up ‘unforgettable’ South Africa convention

Ausure has completed its 10-day convention in South Africa, with more than 100 industry members attending.

The event was headlined by a one-day conference on April 14, where CEO Scott McCarthy provided updates on the company’s key projects and areas of focus for the next year.

The convention also featured presentations on broking topics from key sponsors including NTI national operations manager Jay Hani, SafetyCulture Care head of strategic partnerships Damien Cullen and Arteva Funding CEO Daniel Gronert.

There was also a “magic bush dinner” and stops at venues including the Ivory Tree Lodge in Pilanesberg National Park and Cape Town’s Table Bay Hotel.

Ausure says the “unforgettable” event won praise from attendees, with some calling it the “best ever”.

“The event ... gave 100-plus delegates the opportunity to experience not only some of the world’s most beautiful places, but it also connected sponsors, Ausure head office staff and brokers on a more meaningful level, building long-lasting connections, and even lifelong friendships,” the broker said.

The group will hold next year’s convention on the Gold Coast.
