Ausure Insurance Newcastle has formed a joint venture with Newcastle Insurance Group that it says is “poised to become the leading insurance brokerage in the region”.

Newcastle Insurance Group MD Gavin Walker, a broker for 17 years, was seeking a partner to support his business’ growth and the “collaboration naturally followed”, Ausure’s Newcastle MD David Summers says.

“Gavin’s hard work and relentless pursuit of the best outcomes for his clients, combined with his genuine character, make him an outstanding partner,” Mr Summers said.

“He is passionate about providing complete peace of mind to his clients.”

Mr Walker says it was a “no-brainer” to approach Ausure.

“The support and help I have been given is invaluable,” he said. “It just makes sense to join forces with like-minded business partners to create a more uniform and customer-centric approach. Our goal is to grow in the SME space, utilising the support and resources provided through Ausure.”

Ausure, which has more than 240 authorised representatives across Australia, said earlier this month it is looking to add to its network as demand for risk management advice grows.
