Ausure hails Gold Coast conference

Ausure says its conference on the Gold Coast last month attracted more than 300 delegates.

The event allowed broking network members, industry figures and sponsors to connect over three days from February 23.

Ausure’s management team gave a presentation on developments in technology, market conditions and compliance, and outlined its business plans.

“Our aim was to update everyone on recent initiatives, plans for 2025 and also encourage businesses across the group to review their own business operations,” CEO Scott McCarthy said.

“As the market conditions are different in 2025 to previous years, all businesses should review their approach to business development, which markets are utilised to place business, and internal processes to ensure business practices are still appropriate.”

The event at The Star resort also featured more than 50 stalls for industry groups to feature their work.

It ended with an awards dinner, where Ausure broking manager John Mills announced more than $10,000 had been raised for domestic violence charity RizeUp Australia.

Next year’s conference will be in Sydney.
