Arch Insurance Australia has appointed Carey Sturgiss as professional indemnity senior underwriter for the southern region, covering Victoria, WA, SA and Tasmania. 

She will work in key portfolio areas including construction and the legal and financial sectors. 

Ms Sturgiss joins from Chubb, where she was a financial lines senior underwriter for more than four years. Her previous experience also includes time at IAG, CGU, Allianz, AIG and QBE.  

She will be based in Melbourne, reporting to Arch’s professional indemnity southern region underwriting manager Aisling Hegarty.
